THE KARAITE ISRAEL MOSQUE OF ASCENSION
AND THE TEMPLE OF KEDAR MINISTRIES
(The Original Kedar-Rite of the Karaim)
THE KORAN AND THE SUNNAH
(ARE THEY PERFECTLY MATCHED?)
Allah is perfect in all of His ways and thus all that he created was brought forth in the perfection of design and intent. Man was created in perfect form and therefore the habitat of man being the Garden of Eden was created as a perfect paradise.
Through disobedience both male and female fell from the perfect paradise of the Garden. In an imperfect and sinful state the man and woman were no longer compatible with perfection and purity. However being in denial they made a futile attempt to remain in the Garden by hiding from the Lord.
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
Needless to say the couple were expelled from the Garden and by divine decree that which was now imperfect became detached from that which remained in perfection. By nature that which is imperfect and flawed cannot remain in association with that which is perfect, pure, flawless and infallible. Separating the perfect from the imperfect is essential for that which is impure, defiles and that which is imperfect and fallible, corrupts. Truth stands alone and cannot abide where there is even the slightest potential for falsehood. The fallible can never be merged with the infallible since the two are diametrically opposed being an oxymoron with no point of reconciliation.
And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, ...
ISLAM A PERFECTED RELIGION:
The Prophet Muhammad brought a perfect universal religion for all of mankind.
This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion;...
The perfected religion not only referred to the Holy Koran but the Sunnah as well. The Sunnah refers to the Example of the Prophet Muhammad who modeled the perfect practice and understanding of Islam:
Certainly you have in the Messenger of Allah an EXCELLENT EXEMPLAR for him who hopes in Allah and the latter day and remembers Allah much.
The Holy Koran clearly warned Muslims about straying from the Sunnah after the Prophet Muhammad's death.
.And Muhammad is no more than a messenger; the messengers have already passed away before him; IF HE THEN DIES OR IS KILLED WILL YOU TURN BACK UPON YOUR HEELS, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least and Allah will reward the grateful.
THE SCHOLARLY JUDGMENT OF THE SUNNAH
After the passing of the Prophet Muhammad hundreds of thousands of false hadiths infiltrated the pure and perfect Sunnah. The corruption of the Sunnah became a source of division and confusion among Muslims. The deviation became so great that there was no longer a clear consensus as to what consisted of the true Sunnah. In response to this crisis Islamic scholars such as Bukhari and Muslim took up the task of judging Hadith in terms of authenticity and reliability. These scholars prayed, fasted and performed ablutions in hope that Allah would mercifully guide them through this great task of judgment. Travelling great distances the discerning scholars gathered as many hadiths as they could and began the sifting and scrutinizing process of meticulous judging each hadith that came into their possession.
This all lead to the classification of hadiths. Many hadith were declared false(Maudu), others weak(Da'if),others were good(Hasan) and the most stable and authentic were referred to as genuine(Sahih).
THE JUDGMENT OF SCHOLARS WHO WERE NOT PROPHETS IS FALLIBLE
The followers of Islam remain indebted to those scholars who selflessly took up the task of discernment and judgment in a relentless attempt to salvage and protect the Sunnah from complete and utter destruction. However these scholars who came after the passing of the Prophet Muhammad were not Prophets themselves and this clearly means that their judgment is fallible and subject to error and correction.
Therefore the Sunnah is no longer perfect and cannot be placed on the same level as the Koran. This means that the Sunnah is now expelled from perfection and cannot co-exist with the Koran which remains in a pure, perfect, and preserved state of perfection. The Holy Koran is the only perfectly preserved and divinely revealed communication actively in existence. In theory all that exists outside of the Koran is fallible and subject to error and correction.
The Sunnah which was originally compatible with the Koran fell from perfection and now exists outside the realm of perfection. This means that the Sunnah like all else that exists outside of the Koran is fallible and subject to error and correction.Since much of the Shariah relies on the Sunnah and the Sunnah in turn relies on the judgment of fallible scholars, Muslims can no longer claim to possess a perfected Sharia nor can they claim to have the ability to implement a perfected Sharia. The Koran in itself is the foundation for perfection while the Sunnah like all else that exists outside of the Koran can be accessed in striving for a higher understanding.
There are a number of present day Muslim Scholars and teachers who are selectively refuting hadiths that are labeled Sahih. Recently both Imran Hossein and Dr. Adnan Ibrahim have openly denounced a Sahih Bukhari hadith which claims that the Prophet Muhammad consummated his marriage to Aisha when she was only 9 years old. The rejection of a Sahih Bukhari Hadith is a manifesting example as to the fallible nature of those scholars who judged and classified hadith.
Those Muslims who are claiming that the Judgment of Bukhari and other Muslim scholars are in fact infallible are testifying against the Seal of the Prophets which was an attribute bestowed exclusively on the Prophet Muhammad. To associate infallible status on scholars who came after the Prophet Muhammad is to indirectly place prophetic status upon them.
THE FINAL PHASE OF THE KORANIC DISPENSATION:
With the Sunnah falling from the perfect to the imperfect Islam now exclusively relies on the Koran for perfection. Since the Koran is no longer existing in unison with the Sunnah in a joint effort to implement a perfected Sharia Law it has now emerged in its final role as a Guide to Guard Against Evil.
This Book, there is no doubt in it, is a guide to those who guard (against evil).
